What Makes Our Corn Tortillas Different

The Quality of Ingredients

We use certified organic, non-GMO ingredients for our corn tortillas. We never use unnecessary fillers, gums, or any artificial preservatives or artificial additives of any kind.

Taste, Texture, and Strength

You can taste the rich, slightly sweet flavor of corn in our tortillas. They can be eaten on their own, with a small dab of coconut oil and a sprinkle of salt, or loaded with fillings. They have a smooth, moist texture and are much stronger than your average tortilla. When properly reheated, they won't fall apart when they get wet, and will bend without breaking, so don't be afraid to load them up with your favorite fillings!

Inspired by Handmade

We made our tortillas by hand for the first four years of the business and in that time, we studied every aspect of what makes for a great tortilla: how moist to make the dough, how long to cook them on each side, how to get the perfect inflation. When we upgraded to a machine, we tweaked the settings very carefully to replicate our handmade process as closely as possible. (We've even been told by multiple manufacturers that they've never heard of another company using some of the extra steps that we add to our process!) We're obsessed with creating the highest-quality product that we can, and we're always looking for ways to make our products even better.
